Hi Guys and Dolls! I found this kick-ass vintage 70’s jacket while on my trip. Broken in just right. Soft as a baby’s ass. The interior of a Mercedes Benz (if I’d ever been in one-but I bet it’t this soft). But you’ll never guess what I found in the pocket…. I’ll give you a hint: No kidding! Straight out of the 70’s.Possibly 40 years or more old.Somebody must have lost their coat at a party…. My life is so strange…

I really never lost my love of the over-sized sweater…Worn with a floaty winter white skirt seems to balance out the bulk.Add some 90’s grunge mary janes and booyah…

Hi all 🙂 OK, I bought these boots last year at an end-of-season sale from the Newport News Outlet. They were only $19.50 (I Know!) – So I couldn’t resist. Since then, every time I’ve wanted to wear the suckers, it has been wet. So, by gosh, I’m wearing them every chance I get til they roast my feet this Spring. You’ve been warned! I’ve had most of the clothes for years. The scarf was during the ‘lacey-hippie-scarf’ trend, but I love it, plus it was only 2 bucks. Proof positive that personal style doesn’t have to cost a fortune. (I’m…

Are Ya With Me?Here in the Natti, it is still freezing, so I have to get in as many warmies as I can. Like my Kurt Cobain sweater and this thrifted hand-knit scarf I snagged yesterday. Still, even with Spring just around the corner, I will never let go of my black love affair. I embrace my dark side….With a little kitsch on the side for dramatic cat lady effect 😉 See Ya Later!

HI Everybody! One more time around for ‘The Boots’….Plus, I had yet to wear this vintage jacket.I’m thinking early 70’s? During the cropped riding jacket revolution-though, I get a more Hendrix feeling from it.I bought it at a popular vintage shop in Cincy called Edie’s Vintage Rose Room.I never took you on a tour of that place, did I? Came out with this, also… She only opens when she feels like it, so it was a lucky drive-by.I have more photos of this place. Wanna see them? Anyhoo, I figure I have possibly one more week before I have to break…

Hi all!Yep, this post is all about the boots… Well, not really. I’m finding myself wanting to tell everyone what is happening in my life right now, but it is a personal journey not yet ready to be revealed. I can say, that I have lost over 10 lbs, which I am happy about. I spent the greater part of last year trying to find plus sized clothing that either didn’t look like a giant tent or cost a gazillion bucks for a single tee. Pouting though thrift shops while loading up on scarves. Meanwhile, my boobs grew into giant…

Hmm… Which one first???(Sorry so late to start the week, but I was really tired today.)This weekend was a bit chilly, so I had the pleasure to wear two of my favorite Spring coats.I suppose I’ll start with Saturday.Mellow YellowI scored this vintage pale yellow darling while out of townand had secretly hoped for a chance to wear it.Wa-la!I found it a Goodwill. It winked at me – that was all it took.So here comes Photopalooza! Or Photechela? Anyhoo…. I paired it with toned-downed basics –a thrifted butterfly scarf and red flats to give it a bit of POP… Now…

Hi everyone!Well, I have been waiting patiently since early Winter to wear this thrifted H&M dress. So Boho, So Springy, So Me! I almost passed it by, as it was a small size, but NEVER do that! I tried it on, and though it could be bigger on the top, it still works. I just keep the buttons open – almost as if I did it on purpose 😉 I see it with boots, tights, a funky hat. However (as most of my posts go), today I also wanted to also share a new way to wear a scarf. Another…
